Welcome to Mind in Motion - Ever Moving Forward -
Welcome to Mind in Motion - Ever Moving Forward -

I help people to get what they want in life by studying and applying Metaphysics/Mental Science.
I am here for your Personal Development!
You Will Become What You Think About!
Mission, NOT In Possible!
The Mind is The Last Unexplored Continent on Earth.
The Law of Cause and Effect - Every Action has a Reaction "We reap what we sow". Ralph Waldo Emerson said the Law of Cause and Effect is the "Law of Laws". "For every Action there is an equal and opposite Reaction". Every human thought, word and deed is a Cause that sets off a wave of energy throughout the Universe which in turn creates the Effect whether desirable or undesirable. The Law states the Effect must become physical manifestation. This is why good thoughts, words, emotions, and deeds are essential for a better world, for they all create good Effects.
So, never worry about what you are going to get, just concentrate on what you can give.
A Daily Prayer:
Forgive us our illusions, Father, and help us to accept our true relationship with You, in which there are no illusions, and where none can ever enter.
Our holiness is Yours. What can there be in us that needs forgiveness when Yours is perfect?
The sleep of forgetfulness is only the unwillingness to remember Your forgiveness and Your Love. Let us not wander into temptation, for the temptation of the Son of God is not Your Will. And let us receive only what You have given and accept but this into the minds which You created and which You love. Amen.
Say to the Holy Spirit only, “Decide for me,” and it is done.

T-14.III.19. Whenever you are in doubt what you should do, think of His Presence in you, and tell yourself this, and only this:
He leadeth me and knows the way, which I know not.
Yet He will never keep from me what He would have me learn.
And so, I trust Him to communicate to me all that He knows for me.
As a Man Thinketh In His Heart So, He Is. -- We Become What We Think About! It means the same thing. It has the same outcome.
"I know it. I Believe it and it is so!"
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line. The website is still evolving. So, keep checking it regularly. Thank you.
The Law of Transmutation
· This is Energy Moving into Physical Form.
· Like a caterpillar becoming a Butterfly, your images in your Mind will become a Reality in your Physical world.
The Law of Relativity
· Everything is Relative. Nothing is Big or Small, Good or Bad … until you RELATE to something else. If you have a problem and you think its Big, take a step back and try to Relate it to somebody else’s Bigger problem, and you will see that your problem is smaller now.
The Law of Vibration and Attraction
· Everything Vibrates, Nothing Rests. So, whatever your Vibration, or whatever image you are thinking, this Feeling, is what you are going to attract into your Life.
· Only Think of What You WANT, Not What You DON’T WANT!
· IF You are Not Feeling Good, change your Thinking, and Think of something pleasant.
The Law of Polarity
· Everything has an opposite. Up—Down, Left—Right, Hot—Cold, Good—Bad.
· There is no question without an answer somewhere in the Universe.
The Law of Rhythm
· Everything has a Rhythm to it. The Night follows Day … the Tide goes Out … You have Good times and Bad times.
· Rhythm is essential in Music.
· Rhythm works everywhere in your Life and whatever you are working on.
The Law of Cause and Effect
· Everything has a Cause and Effect.
· Whatever Thoughts you send into the Universe come back.
· Every Action has a Re-Action, Equal and Opposite.
· Never worry about what you are going to get, just concentrate on what you can Give.
The Law of Gender
· Gestation is the time it takes for something to come into Form.
· A baby goes through a gestation period of nine months.
· Every Seed has a gestation or incubation period.
· Your Ideas are Spiritual Seeds which will move into Form or Physical Results.
There is only one Great Law: “Energy Is.” “God Is.”
All Mental and Physical Science is based on this Great Law and its subsidiary Laws which operate in Harmony with each other. The seven subsidiary Laws are:
1. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation
2. The Law of Vibration (Law of Attraction)
3. The Law of Relativity
4. The Law of Rhythm
5. The Law of Polarity
6. The Law of Cause and Effect
7. The Law of Gender.
The definition of Natural Law is that, “It is the uniform and orderly method of the Omnipotent God.”
From all the other form of animal life that has been created, we have been given the Power of choice or free Will; with this Power came certain Responsibilities. This capacity of choice does not give us Freedom from the consequences of our choice. This Laws which govern every one of us, are as exact as the Laws which govern our material Universe. You can act in accordance with these Laws or you can disregard them, but you cannot in any way alter them. The Law forever operates and will hold you to strict accountability, and there is not the slightest allowance made for ignorance. We are all ignorant of something until we understand it. The Law of Attraction will deliver to you what you DO NOT WANT as quickly and as certainly as it will deliver what you DO WANT.
You must begin to live your life in harmony with the Laws of the Universe. You must remember, these Laws are always working … they never rest.
So, think it … Feel it … Do it … and you will attract it. Believe it or not, this is “The Great Secret of Life.”
Energy from the Formless Realm is constantly flowing into our material world and taking Form. This Energy is Limitless and Inexhaustible and is always in a state of Motion. It will take one Form, move to another Form, but it is always in Motion and never standing still. Motion is the only thing that is constant. Energy’s changing Form is the only attribute that is apparent to our material senses.
It is in a constant state of Transmission and Transmutation. It is the Cause and Effect of itself and can be neither Created nor Destroyed. It relates to the Universe and our Consciousness through realisation that everything seen, and unseen is constantly changing. We can take this Energy and transform it into whatever Form we Desire. When we realise that this Energy, which is with us now, can be focused towards Good, then the things around us will change for the better.
This Energy is flowing constantly into our Consciousness and we can transform it into whatever we choose through our focus of attention now.
So, by understanding this Law, we see that change is all there is. You hear people say, “I like things just the way they are,” they are just advertising their ignorance of this important Law. You are either growing or dying. Everything will always keep changing. Try not to resist the change. If you do, you will only be going against this Law and you will pay for it.
Use this Law to your benefit by shaping the Formless Energy, which is always flowing to and through you, into good ‘Causes’.
Everything is Energy, and everything in the Universe Vibrates … nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates around you, including yourself, the chair you sit on, all the people around you, the flower in your garden, and even the dust on the table, your thoughts, and other’s thoughts—vibrate at a specific frequency.
You are always moving towards something and something is always moving towards you. Whatever frequency your thoughts are on, the Universe will attract a matching signal back to you. In other words, “Like Attracts Like.”
Thoughts are potent Energy, vibrations, that you send off into the Universe. The more you concentrate, the vibrations get stronger. These cosmic waves of Energy penetrate all time and space. And remember, you can Think, and all creation begins in Thought, and this Thoughts control the Vibration your physical Body is in. Health is a Body at Ease, and Disease is a Body not at Ease.
When we study this Law, we are going to find that everything is relative. All Laws are related to each other and correspond with each other. The Laws of little things are the Laws of the great things. There is no big or small, fast nor slow, except by comparison. Every Law must be Relative to all other Laws. They must be in Harmony, in agreement, and correspond with each other. By understanding this Law will give you the means of solving many of the secrets of Nature that seem baffling. All frequencies of Vibration are either High or Low, only by comparison with those above or below them.
When you use this Law properly, you will win. Remember that everyone does something better than you and, likewise, you do something better than everyone else that you meet. But when you relate something you are NOT good at, to something that another person IS good at and mastered, you will not look good. Here you are using the Law against yourself. You must begin to use this Law to heighten your self-esteem, which you will then become aware of how special you are in the light of Truth!
The Law of Rhythm states that everything Vibrates to certain Rhythms, like the seasons, patterns, cycles, and stages of development. It also states that the Energy in the Universe is like a pendulum. If something swings to the Left, it must then swing to the Right. This Law embodies the truth that everything in existence is involved in dance … swinging back and forth, flowing in and out, moving to and fro. Everything is either growing or dying.
There is always an Action and Reaction; a Rising and a Sinking; an advance and a Retreat; It also governs the movements of the planets in their orbits. Our seasons are in a continuous flow from summer to winter, the Night follows Day … the ebb and flow of the Tides … You have Good and Bad Times. What seems to be random is very orderly. This Law governs our Economy, Health, Relationships, and Spirituality. You are not going to be feeling good all the time; I do not think anybody does. If you did, you would not even know it. The Low Feelings are what permit you to enjoy the High Feelings. There will always be Highs and Lows in Life.
The Principle manifests in the creation and destruction of worlds; in the rise and fall of nations; in the life history of all things; and finally, in the mental states of Man. And thus, it is with all the things of shape and form; they swing from Action to Reaction; from Birth to Death; from activity to inactivity and then back again.
“There is no such thing as absolute rest, or cessation from movement, and all movement partakes of Rhythm. The Principle is of Universal application. It may be applied to any question, or phenomena of any of the many planes of life. It may be applied to all phases of human activity. There is always the Rhythmic swing from one pole to the other. The Universal Pendulum is ever in Motion. The Tides of Life flow in and out, according to Law.”—The Kybalion
Everything in the Universe has its Opposite. A battery has its Positive and Negative terminals. You have a Right and Left side to your Body, a back and front. Hot—Cold. Everything that has an Up has a Down and every Down has an Up. The Law of Polarity is Dual. It not only states that everything has an Opposite, it is equal and Opposite. If you measure the top of a table to the floor, and its 1.2 metres, then it is also 1.2 metres from the floor to the top. If it is, map distance, 534 km from London to Edinburgh, by law it must be 534 km from Edinburgh to London; it must be, it could not be any other way.
There is no Question without an answer somewhere in the Universe.
If something Bad happens in your Life, there must be something Good about it. If it is only a little Bad, when you work your way around to the other side, you will find it will only be a little Good about it.
You must realise that every situation JUST IS it is you that makes it Positive or Negative by virtue of how you choose to Think about it. If the situation is Negative, change your perspective and look at it from the Opposite viewpoint and you will find it will be Positive.
"Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognised; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law." — The Kybalion.
“The Principle of Cause and Effect embodies the truth that Law pervades {be present and apparent throughout} the Universe; that nothing happens by Chance; that Chance is merely a term indicating cause existing but not recognised or perceived; {become aware or conscious of (something); come to realise or understand} that phenomena is continuous, without break or exception.”
There is no such thing as pure Chance. Webster defines the word “Chance” as follows: "Something that happens unpredictably without discernible human intention or observable cause; the assumed impersonal purposeless determiner of unaccountable happenings: Luck; the fortuitous or incalculable element in existence; a situation favouring some purpose.”
“But a little consideration will show you that there can be no such agent as "Chance," in the sense of something outside of Law — something outside of Cause and Effect.
When we look closely it will show that what we call “Chance” is merely an expression relating to causes that we cannot perceive; {come to realise or understand} causes that we cannot understand. The word Chance is derived from a word meaning "to fall" (as the falling of dice), the idea being that the fall of the dice (and many other happenings) are merely a "happening" unrelated to any cause. And this is the sense in which the term is generally employed. But when the matter is closely examined, it is seen that there is no chance whatsoever about the fall of the dice. Each time a dice falls, and displays a certain number, it obeys a law as infallible as that which governs the revolution of the planets around the sun. Back of the fall of the dice are causes, or chains of causes, running back further than the mind can follow. The position of the dice in the box; the amount of muscular energy expended in the throw; the condition of the table, etc., etc., all are causes, the effect of which may be seen. But back of these seen causes there are chains of unseen preceding causes, all of which had a bearing upon the number of the dice which fell uppermost.
If a dice is cast a great number of times, it will be found that the numbers shown will be about equal, that is, there will be an equal number of one-spot, two-spot, etc., coming uppermost. Toss a penny in the air, and it may come down either "heads" or "tails"; but make enough tosses, and the heads and tails will about even up. This is the operation of the law of average. But both the average and the single toss come under the Law of Cause and Effect, and if we were able to examine into the preceding causes, it would be clearly seen that it was simply impossible for the dice to fall other than it did, under the same circumstances and at the same time. Given the same causes, the same results will follow. There is always a "cause" and a "because" to every event. Nothing ever "happens" without a cause, or rather a chain of causes.
There is no “thing” that ever causes or “Creates” another “thing.” Cause and Effect deals merely with “Events.” An "Event" is "that which comes, arrives or happens, as a result or consequent of some preceding event." No event "Creates" another event but is merely a preceding link in the great orderly chain of events. There is a relation that exist between everything that has gone before, and everything that follows.
Let say a boulder is dislodged from a mountain side and crashes through a roof of a house in the valley below. You might regard this as a chance effect, but when you examine this closely, you will find a great chain of causes behind it. In the first place there will be the rain that softened the earth which was supporting the boulder and this allowed it to fall; then back of this was the influence of the Sun, other rains, etc., which gradually disintegrated the piece of rock from a larger piece; then there were the causes which led to the formation of the mountain, and its upheaval by convulsions of nature, and so on ad infinitum. Then we might follow up the causes behind the rain, etc. Then we might consider the existence of the roof. In short, we would soon find ourselves involved in a mesh of cause and effect, from which we would soon strive to extricate ourselves.
Stop to think a moment. If a certain man had not met a certain maid, away back in the dim period of the Stone Age — you who are now reading these lines would not now be here. Every thought we think, every act we perform, has its direct and indirect results which fit into the great chain of Cause and Effect.”—The Kybalion
Here are some examples of Cause and Effect:
Here is an example of a Chain Reaction:
You are driving your car and you hit the car in front causing that car to hit the car in front of it. In this scenario, the first (your car), in the string of Events is the Cause.
Cause: car hits car
Effect: multiple cars hit each other resulting in damage.
A distinction is often made between a Cause that produces something new (e.g., a moth from a caterpillar) and one that produces a change in an existing substance (e.g., a statue from a piece of marble). Aristotle distinguished four causes—efficient, final, material, and formal—that may be illustrated by the following example: a statue is created by a sculptor (the efficient) who makes changes in marble (the material) in order to have a beautiful object (the final) with the characteristics of a statue (the formal).
So, remember, every Cause has an Effect. Every thought being the Cause will produce an Event. Every Action has a Re-Action, Equal and Opposite. Again, I repeat, “Never worry about what you are going to get, just concentrate on what you can Give.”
"Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles; Gender manifests on all planes." — The Kybalion.
“The Principle of Gender embodies the truth that there is Gender manifested in everything — that the Masculine and Feminine principles are ever present and active in all phases of phenomena, on each plane of life.
The word "Gender" is derived from the Latin root meaning "to beget; to pro-create; to generate; to create; to produce." A moment's consideration will show you that the word has a much broader and more general meaning than the term "Sex," the latter referring to the physical distinctions between male and female living things. Sex is merely a manifestation of Gender on a certain plane of the Great Physical Plane — the plane of organic life.
The office of Gender is solely that of creating, producing, generating, etc., and its manifestations are visible on every plane of phenomena.”
The Law of Gender decrees that everything has gestation/incubation period. A baby generally takes 9 months to form. Carrot seeds will take a few weeks. If you have an idea about a business venture, or a dream goal, some period will elapse before you see them materialise. Your ideas are Spiritual Seeds which will move into form or Physical Results. You do not know the gestation period of your ideas. Plant the seed, work towards it, and take actions that lead towards it, and it will form when the time is right. People will tell you that you cannot do it, it has never been done before, you are crazy. Do NOT let their opinion deter you from your idea. By you having the idea that means you can attain it. The only consideration is, if you WANT it, then you work willingly towards it. Do not worry and doubt whether you will see the Results of your idea. Worrying and doubting have the same effect as digging up the carrot seed the day after you plant it to see if a carrot has grown. Leave it alone! DON’T WORRY or DOUBT about your idea, let it Manifest.
You are responsible for your Results that you get in life. You are the Cause of your Effects. There is no one else to blame but yourself. No one else can make it happen for you, only YOU CAN. Believe in yourself and take Action to do what it takes to live the life you WANT. This takes Persistence, Patience, and Faith. You must stay in a high state of Vibration, and soon you will be celebrating the fact of your Results with the people around you.
You must feed the fertile garden of your Mind with Thoughts of “I CAN Do It if I Believe I CAN!” ------“I CAN, and I WILL!”
I think we all have experienced, what Plato is saying here, sometime in our lives.
As Socrates says, we are all Peaceful Warriors in away. The Battles we all should be fighting, should be the ones inside of us, NOT the Battles(circumstances) in our environment.
"As Within, So Without!"
You need to wake up in the morning with a Positive Mental Attitude!
Expecting Positive Results in your Live by having a Negative Attitude, is just wasting your Time. Think Positive Thoughts to get Positive Results!
Again, "As Within, So Without!"
Never WORRY about what you are going to GET, just concentrate on what you can GIVE.
Cause and Effect.
· Whatever Thoughts you send into the Universe come back.
· Every Action has a Re-Action, Equal and Opposite.
Imagination is one of our higher Faculties, which never gets taught in school.
When we were kids, we used our imagination all the time. Playing with our toys our imagination soared to all sort of places; you hold a spaceship, and you are soaring through space, you play with a soldier, and you are fighting the enemy. But, we go to school, and you sit at your desk, you gaze out the window and what does the teacher shout out, "Chris, stop day dreaming and pay attention!" So we stop imagining!
So, please start using your imagination, as Albert says, it's more important than knowledge, it encircles the world.
Logic will get you from A to B, but your Imagination will take you everywhere that you wish to go.
Imaging what you like to Have, Do, or Be, and then Live it mentally until it takes form around you physically.
"Whatsoever things ye ask for when ye pray, Believe that ye Receive them, and ye shall have them."
Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; energy can only be transferred or changed from one form to another. For example, turning on a light would seem to produce energy; however, it is electrical energy that is converted.
Everything is already here!
This quote by Albert Einstein is true, because I am sure most of you, I know it happened to me, you keep thinking on a problem to solve and nothing happens. Stop thinking about it, clear your mind of everything and let your inner Consciousness answer it for you. You'll be doing something completely different, and the answer to your problem comes to you.
As Albert says' "Stop thinking, swim in silence, and the truth will come to you."
This quote by Albert Einstein is one that I have been telling myself for quite a while now. It doesn't matter how intelligent your are, it's the saying "I CAN" that gets you what you want in Life. There is nothing impossible, Never say "I CAN'T". Never say I can't do that, I can't do this, always say I can do that, I can do this! Just by saying the word "I CAN" out loud you get that inspiration inside of you which gives you the drive to do anything.
This quote by Buddha needs to be read a couple of times to get what he is saying. What is happening around you, especially something bad, will not affect you unless you give thought to it. Once you give thought to it, and let it get inside of you, it will weigh you down, depress you. So, you cannot feel bad or depressed because of the circumstances around you, this will only happen if you internalise the circumstances.
DO NOT LET YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES DICTATE YOUR THINKING, THINK AND CREATE YOUR OWN CIRCUMSTANCES!
"The outer world of circumstance shapes itself to the inner world of thought." --James Allen
DO NOT LET YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES DICTATE YOUR THINKING, THINK AND CREATE YOUR OWN CIRCUMSTANCES!
The quote today is from Lao Tzu, and it says it all.
When you are feeling depressed is because you are living in the Past, something has already happened. There is nothing you can do about it.
If you are anxious, unease about something with an uncertain outcome, you are trying to live in the Future.
If you are feeling peaceful, free from disturbances, you are living in the Present, in the NOW!
LIVE FOR THE MOMENT!
Wallace D. Wattles said, “The whole process of Mental Adjustment and Atonement can be summed up in one word, GRATITUDE.”
“First, you believe that there is one Intelligent Substance, from which all things proceed; second, you believe that this Substance gives you everything you Desire; and third, you relate yourself to it by a feeling of deep and profound GRATITUDE.”
=======================================
The question, how do we communicate with the Supreme Intelligent to attract things into our lives? Is probably asked by many.
The answer is simple, GRATITUDE!
Be grateful for each day, and everything that comes your way. When you say, “I am grateful for that,” or “I appreciate that,” you are moving Energy and creating a space for what you like to magnetise towards you. This is Universal Law. Also, it is impossible to appreciate one thing and worry about something else at the same time. Every minute spent in Gratitude, on anything at all, is also a moment spent magnetising towards you whatever you WANT, rather than inviting what you DON’T want.
“The grateful outreaching of your Mind in thankful praise to the Supreme is a liberation or expenditure of Force; it cannot fail to reach that to which it addressed, and the reaction is an instantaneous movement towards you.
“Draw nigh unto God, and He will Draw nigh unto you.” that is a statement of psychological truth.”
Τίποτα πραγματικό δεν μπορεί να απειληθεί.
Δεν υπάρχει τίποτα εξωπραγματικό.
Εδώ βρίσκεται η ειρήνη του Θεού.
Here is a quote by Albert Einstein I think makes a lot of sense.
If you keep doing the things you always done, this will always be giving you the same Results in your live. This is what is called a Paradigm. A Paradigm is what you form as Habits.
Every morning you get up put your slippers on, you stretch, and make your way to the bathroom. This is a Habit. A routine you follow every day.
So, change your Thinking to change your Habits. Always Think of what you WANT not what you DON’T WANT!
James Allen said, in his marvellous little book, As A Man Thinketh, “Mind is the Master power that moulds and makes,
And Man is Mind, and evermore he takes
The tool of Thought, and, shaping what he wills,
Brings forth a thousand joys, a thousand ills: -
He thinks in Secret, and it comes to pass:
environment is but his looking-glass.”
Whatever is going on in your outside world reflects what is going on in the inside world. You control the inside. Live from inside out and quit living from the outside in!
Another quote by James Allen.
Here is the complete quote from his book, ‘As a Man Thinketh’, “Man is made or unmade by himself; in the armoury of thought he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself; he also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace. By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to the Divine Perfection; by the abuse and wrong application of thought, he descends below the level of the Beast. Between these two extremes are all the grades of character, and man is their maker and master.”
Then he goes on to say, “As a being of Power, Intelligence, and Love, and the Lord of his own Thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that transforming and regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills.”
Continuing on from this quote by James Allen, he goes on to say “and that he is the maker of his character, the moulder of his life, and the builder of his destiny, he may unerringly prove, if he will watch, control, and alter his thoughts, tracing their effects upon himself, upon others, and upon his life and circumstances, linking cause and effect by patient practice and investigation, and utilising his every experience, even to the most trivial, everyday occurrence, as a means of obtaining that knowledge of himself which is Understanding, Wisdom, Power. In this direction, as in no other, is the law absolute that “He that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened”; for only by patience, practise, and ceaseless importunity can a man enter the Door of the Temple of Knowledge.”
You must learn to watch and control, and if need be, alter your thoughts to what you WANT, NOT what you DON’T WANT. As you go through your everyday occurrences, and learning from your experiences, you will gain Understanding, Wisdom, and Power, but you must be patient.
James Allen continues to say “but whether cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall therein and will continue to produce their kind.
“Just as a gardener cultivates his plot, keeping it free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which he requires, so may a man tend the garden of his Mind, weeding out all the wrong, useless, and impure thoughts, and cultivating towards perfection the flowers and fruit of right, useful, and pure thoughts. By pursuing this process, a man sooner or later discovers that he is the master gardener of his soul, the director of his life. He also reveals, within himself, the laws of thought, and understands, with ever-increasing accuracy, how the thought forces and mind elements operate in the shaping of his character, circumstances, and destiny.”
James Allen continues to say “No such conditions can exist as descending into vice and its attendant sufferings apart from vicious inclinations, or ascending into virtue and its pure happiness without the continued cultivation of virtuous aspirations; and man, therefore, as the lord and master of thought, is the maker of himself, the shaper and author of environment. Even at birth the soul comes to its own, and through every step of its earthly pilgrimage it attracts those combinations of conditions which reveal itself, which are the reflections of its own purity and impurity, its strength and weakness.”
So, the circumstances around you do not make you what you are, they reveal to you what thoughts you have been thinking to shape your circumstances. As the ‘Lord and Master of your Thoughts’, you can create your own circumstances. Again I repeat, “only Think of what you WANT not what you DON’T WANT!”
James Allen goes on to say, “Their whims, fancies, and ambitions are thwarted at every step, but their inmost thoughts and desires are fed with their own food, be it foul or clean. The “divinity that shapes our ends” is in ourselves; it is our very self. Man is manacled {confine} only by himself, thought and action are the jailers of Fate—they imprison, being base; they are also the angels of Freedom—they liberate, being noble. Not what he wishes and prays for does a man get, but what he justly earns. His wishes and prayers are only gratified and answered when they harmonise with his thoughts and actions.”
What James Allen is saying here, is that you maybe wanting something in your life, but you are not getting it because you are not internalising the feeling and emotion of that thing. You must, again I say, watch what you are thinking, because your desires are fed with whatever food you give them, be it good or bad. Your thoughts and actions can imprison you or give you Freedom. Your wishes and prayers are only going to be answered when you harmonise them with your thoughts and actions.
James Allen goes on to say “The man who does not shrink from self-crucifixion can never fail to accomplish the object upon which his heart is set. This is as true of earthly as of heavenly things. Even the man whose sole object is to acquire wealth must be prepared to make great personal sacrifices before he can accomplish his object; and how much more so he who would realise a strong and well-poised life?”
So, if you are anxious {feeling or showing worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome} and you want to improve your circumstances around you, and you are not willing to improve yourself; you will remain bound to those feelings withing. You must be prepared to make personal sacrifices to acquire what you want in your Life.
James Allen goes on to say “this is but saying that nothing can come from corn but corn, nothing from nettles but nettles. Men understand this law in the natural world, and work with it; but few understand it in the mental and moral world (though its operation there is just as simple and undeviating), and they, therefore, do not cooperate with it.”
What James Allen is trying to say is that if you are thinking good thoughts and your actions are likewise, they can never produce bad Results; but if you are thinking bad thoughts and your actions are likewise, and you are waiting for good Results, it’s never going to happen. I repeat, “Only Think of what you WANT, not what you DON’T WANT!”
James Allen goes on to say “The circumstances which a man encounters with blessedness are the results of his own mental harmony. Blessedness, not material possessions, is the measure of right thought; wretchedness, not lack of material possessions, is the measure of wrong thought. A man may be cursed and rich; he may be blessed and poor. Blessedness and riches are only joined together when the riches are rightly and wisely used; and the poor man only descends into wretchedness when he regards his lot as a burden unjustly imposed.”
Whatever suffering you are going through life it is because of your own mental in-harmony. Switch your thinking to harmonious thoughts, and you will get your circumstances in life blessed, and not what you possess in material things. This is the right measure of thought. Any wretchedness you face in life is a measure of wrong thought, and not a lack of material possessions.
Just before this poem, James Allen says “The world is your kaleidoscope, and the varying combinations of colours which at every succeeding moment it presents to you are the exquisitely adjusted pictures of your ever moving thoughts.”
“You will be what you ‘will’ to be.” You have to let all your failures find content in the ‘environment’ around you, because your Spirit is Free, it is the Master of Time and Space, it will avoid that ‘boastful trickster called Chance,’ because there is no such thing as ‘Luck’. ‘Luck’ is when ‘Preparedness meets Opportunity.’ Your Will, that unseen Force, is the offspring of a Deathless Soul, which will strife to attain any goal you set your Mind too, even cutting through walls of granite that might intervene. So, be patient and understand, that as your ‘Spirit rises and Commands then God is ready to obey,’
James Allen goes on to say, “At the bidding of unlawful thoughts the body sinks rapidly into disease and decay; at the command of glad and beautiful thoughts it becomes clothed with youthfulness and beauty.”
“Disease and health, like circumstances, are rooted in thought. Sickly thoughts will express themselves through a sickly body. thoughts of fear have been known to kill a man as speedily as a bullet, and they are continually killing thousands of people just as surely though less rapidly. The people who live in fear of disease are the people who get it. Anxiety quickly demoralises the whole body and lays it open to the entrance of disease; while impure thoughts, even if not physically indulged, will soon shatter the nervous system.”
“Strong, pure, and happy thoughts build up the body in vigour and grace. The body is a delicate and plastic instrument, which responds readily to the thoughts by which it is impressed, and habits of thought will produce their own effects, good or bad, upon it.”
“Men will continue to have impure and poisoned blood so long as they propagate {spread and promote (an idea, theory, etc.) widely}unclean thoughts. Out of a clean heart comes a clean life and a clean body. Out of a defiled {damage the purity or appearance of; mar or spoil}mind proceeds a defiled life and a corrupt body. Thought is the font of action, life, and manifestation; make the fountain pure, and all will be pure.”
James Allen goes on to say “Clean thoughts make clean habits. The so-called saint who does not wash his body is not a saint. He who has strengthened and purified his thoughts does not need to consider the malevolent {having or showing a wish to do evil to others} microbe {a microorganism, especially a bacterium causing disease or fermentation.}”
“If you would perfect your body, guard your mind. If you would renew your body, beautify your mind. Thoughts of malice, envy, disappointment, despondency, {low spirits from loss of hope or courage} rob the body of its health and grace. A sour face does not come by chance; it is made by sour thoughts. Wrinkles that mar are drawn by folly, passion, pride.”
“I know a woman of ninety-six who has the bright, innocent face of a girl. I know a man well under middle age whose face is drawn into inharmonious contours. The one is the result of a sweet and sunny disposition; {a person's inherent qualities of mind and character} the other is the outcome of passion and discontent {dissatisfaction with one's circumstances}.”
“As you cannot have a sweet and wholesome abode {a place of residence; a house or home }unless you admit the air and sunshine freely into your rooms, so a strong body and a bright, happy, or serene {calm, peaceful, and untroubled; tranquil} countenance {a person's face or facial expression} can only result from the free admittance into the mind of thoughts of joy and good will and serenity. {the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled.}”
What Allen is trying to say here, is that once you change the way you think, you will change your circumstances around you. The Law of Cause and Effect applies to your thoughts, as well as in your physical world. So, what you think becomes the Cause, and the Effect is the Results in your physical environment.
James Allen goes on to say “With those who have lived righteously, age is calm, peaceful, and softly mellowed, like the setting sun. I have recently seen a philosopher on his deathbed. He was not old except in years. He died as sweetly and peacefully as he had lived.”
“There is no physician like cheerful thought for dissipating the ills of the body; there is no comforter to compare with good will for dispersing the shadows of grief and sorrow. To live continually in thoughts of ill will, cynicism, {an inclination to believe that people are motivated purely by self-interest; scepticism} suspicion, and envy, is to be confined in a self-made prison hole. But to think well of all, to be cheerful with all, to patiently learn to find the good in all—such unselfish thoughts are the very portals of heaven; and to dwell day by day in thoughts of peace towards every creature will bring abounding peace to their possessor.”
When you look upon the faces of people around you, you can tell whether the wrinkles are made by sympathy, strong and pure thought or by passion. By thinking Positive Thoughts always, you will fill younger, healthier, and full of vigour. Also, if you want to get rid of any ills of the body, you just keep repeating this sentence from a physician named Émile Couè “Every Day, in Every Way, I AM Getting Better and Better!” Repeat this every day, in the morning, during the day and just before you drop off to sleep. Repeat it every day even if you have no ills in your body, it will stop you getting any ills.
James Allen goes on to say “They who have no central purpose in their life fall an easy prey to petty worries, fears, troubles, and self-pitying, all of which are indications of weakness, which lead, just as surely as deliberately planned sins (though by a different route), to failure, unhappiness, and loss, for weakness cannot persist in a power-evolving universe.”
“A man should conceive of a legitimate purpose in his heart and set out to accomplish it. He should make this purpose the centralising point of his thoughts. It may take the form of a spiritual ideal, or it may be a worldly object, according to his nature at the time being; but whichever it is, he should steadily focus his thought forces upon the object which he has set before him. He should make this purpose his supreme duty, and should devote himself to its attainment, not allowing his thoughts to wander away into ephemeral {lasting for a noticeably short time} fancies, longings, and imaginings. This is the royal road to self-control and true concentration of thought. Even if he fails again and again to accomplish his purpose (as he necessarily must until weakness is overcome), the strength of character gained will be the measure of his true success, and this will form a new starting point for future power and triumph.”
You must set yourself a worthy Goal and set out to get it. FOCUS. Follow One Course Until Successful. Until you focus and link your ‘thought with a purpose’, there will be ‘no accomplishment.’ Do not allow your thoughts to wander upon the ‘ocean of life’ with things like ‘worries, fears, troubles and self-pitying.’ This are all weakness which will lead to ‘failure, unhappiness, and loss.’ Even if you fail again and again to reach your Goal, this will give you strength to keep at it, because every failure is a lesson learned, and one step closer to your Goal.
James Allen goes on to say “The will to do springs from the knowledge that we CAN do. Doubt and fear are the great enemies of knowledge, and he who encourages them, who does not slay them, thwarts himself at every step.”
“He who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure. His every thought is allied with power, and all difficulties are bravely met and wisely overcome. His purposes are seasonably planted, and they bloom and bring forth fruit which does not fall prematurely to the ground.”
“Thought allied fearlessly to purpose becomes creative force: he who KNOWS this is ready to become something higher and stronger than a mere bundle of wavering thoughts and fluctuating sensations; he who DOES this has become the conscious and intelligent wielder of his mental powers.”
Get rid of all your Doubts and Fears because thoughts along this line of thinking can accomplish nothing. They will lead you to Failure and will lower your Energy and Power to see your Purpose through to the end. Once you overcome Doubt and Fear, you will have conquered Failure.
Once you bring your Thoughts to concentrate on your Purpose in Life, this becomes a strong Creative Force and once you have done this you will become the wielder of your Mental Powers and be able to accomplish anything.
James Allen goes on to say “In a justly ordered universe, where loss of equipoise {balance of forces or interests} would mean total destruction, individual responsibility must be absolute. A man’s weakness and strength, purity, and impurity, are his own, and not another man’s; they are brought about by himself, and not by another; and they can only be altered by himself, never by another. His condition is also his own, and not another man’s. His suffering and his happiness are evolved from within. As he thinks, so he is; as he continues to think, so he remains.”
“A strong man cannot help a weaker unless that weaker is WILLING to be helped, and even then the weak man must become strong of himself; he must, by his own efforts, develop the strength which he admires in another. None but himself can alter his condition.”
Take responsibility of your own thoughts, because through your think you will change your circumstances around you, be it suffering or happiness. Your choice. Your life is made by your own THINKING, not by anybody else’s thinking. Everything around you are evolved from Within. As Within, so Without. Change your Thinking to Change your Results.
James Allen goes on to say “The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.”
“Your circumstances may be uncongenial, {not friendly or pleasant to be with} but they shall not long remain so if you but perceive an Ideal and strive to reach it. You cannot travel WITHIN and stand still WITHOUT.”
“Here is a youth hard pressed by poverty and labour; confined long hours in an unhealthy workshop; unschooled and lacking all the arts of refinement. But he dreams of better things: he thinks of intelligence, of refinement, of grace and beauty. He conceives of, mentally builds up, an ideal condition of life; the vision of a wider liberty and a larger scope takes possession of him; unrest urges him to action, and he utilises all his spare time and means, small though they are, to the development of his latent powers and resources. Very soon so altered has his mind become that the workshop can no longer hold him. It has become so out of harmony with his mentality that it falls out of his life as a garment is cast aside, and, with the growth of opportunities which fit the scope of his expanding powers, he passes out of it forever. Years later we see this youth as a full-grown man. We find him master of certain forces of the mind which he wields with world-wide influence and almost unequalled power. In his hands he holds the cords of gigantic responsibilities; he speaks, and lo! Lives are changed; men and women hang upon his words and remould their characters, and, sunlike, he becomes the fixed and luminous centre around which innumerable destinies revolve. He has become one with his Ideal.”
As I sit here in my room, looking out of the window, I see the sun rising in the East. What a magnificent site it is. As I feel the powerful rays on my face, I begin to think of what I am going to tell you today.
For the last couple of months, I have been trying to write down on paper what I have been studying for the last 5 years, but always something crops up and I put it off. So, here I am now, with pen to paper to write my thoughts and feelings on a subject concerning the Mind, the last unexplored continent on Earth. So, I am going to take you through the process of explaining what the Mind is and its functions, and how it will help you to move forward in your life.
The beginning of my study, that started me off in this direction, goes back to May 2015 when I was listening to a webinar on Trading the Financial Markets, which I still do today, when I have the time, of the speaker telling his story of a situation he had, and how it got resolved, based on what he was, and still does, reading a little book called “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace D. Wattles. (Download it from the Downloads page). On hearing this I quickly jotted down the name of the book, which is downloadable from the Internet as a PDF file for free, as the book was written way back in the 1900. So, since that day, I have been reading that book repeatedly till I understood, and realised, how powerful the words in it were. It has given me an insight into the powerful world of, thinking of what you want and patiently waiting for it to manifest in your physical environment.
The way forward in this world, in my humble opinion, is to stop and think of the question, Why I am here? What is my purpose here on this beautiful planet? What Do I Want?
As you ponder over this question, roll it over in your Conscious Mind, you will set up a vibration going through to your Sub-Conscious Mind, which will find the answer for you.
I have been asking this question myself for a while now. I know that I was brought into this world for a purpose. What that purpose is, I am not sure yet. When the time comes, I am sure it will reveal itself to me. In the meantime, I will continue to study the books I have on my bookshelf, which the authors are, Wallace D. Wattle, Judge Thomas Troward, Napoleon Hill, James Allen, Claude M. Bristol, Neville Goddard, Earl Nightingale, etc... and will read all the other relevant books on this subject, as they reveal themselves to me.
The study of the Mind, or as it is called, Metaphysics, is, as I said, the last Unexplored Continent on Earth and it should be explored and understood.
One of the greatest Metaphysical teachers was Jesus, believe it or not. Most Christians follow the Man, instead of studying and understanding what He preached. I will be quoting Him, and other great philosophers, as we progress on with this subject. All these teachers of Metaphysics say the same thing but in a different way. I heard a recording by Earl Nightingale which in it he said, “We Become What We Think About.” I connected this up with a saying in the Bible, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” So, in other words, whatever we think about in our Mind, will eventually become a reality in our physical environment. I say unto you all, “Only Think of What You Want, NOT What You DON’T Want.”
To understand how your Mind works I will give you a scenario that you can relate to. Your Mind is like the soil in your garden. Whatever you plant in it, it will eventually grow. It does not care what you plant in it. You decide. Here we are comparing your Mind with the garden, because, your Mind, like the garden, does not care what you plant in it. It will return whatever you plant, but it does not care what you plant.
Now, let us say you go into your garden and in your hand, you have two seeds—one lettuce, the other hemlock, a deadly poison. You plant both seeds, cover the holes, water, and take care of the garden. So, I ask you this, what do you think is going to happen? Invariably, the garden will return what you planted. As it is written in the Bible, “As Ye Sow, So Shall Ye Reap.” Remember, the garden does not care. It will return poison in abundance as it will lettuce. Your Mind is far more incredible and mysterious than your garden, but it works the same way. It does not care what you plant—success or failure. Your choice. Plant a worthwhile goal, or confusion, like fear, anxiety, and so on. But what you plant it will return to you.
The Mind contains riches beyond our wildest dreams. It will give you anything you want to plant. You may be asking yourself, if this is true, why don’t people use their minds to get what they want? Well the problem is our Mind comes as standard equipment at birth. It is free. And as you know things that are given to us for nothing, we place little value on. On the other hand, things we pay money for, we value! The paradox here is that exactly the reverse is true.
Everything worthwhile in life has come to us free: our minds, our bodies, our souls, our dreams, our intelligence, etc... But the things that cost us money are ridiculously cheap and can be replaced at any time. You can be wiped out completely and before long you make another fortune. If you think about it, you can do that several times. Even if your home burns down, you can rebuild it. But the things you have been given for nothing, you can never replace.
So, what is it that you want?
Plant your goal in your Mind. It is the most important decision you will ever make in your entire life.
Plant the seed in your Mind, care for it, work steadily towards your goal, and it will become a reality. It must, there is no way that it cannot. It is a Law – like the Laws of gravity. If you go up on top of a building and jump off, you will always go down – you will never go up. It is the same with all the Laws of nature.
Emerson said that Cause and Effect is the Primary Law of the Universe. This means, whatever you send into the Universe will come back. Action—Re-Action are equal and opposite. If you say good things to everyone; treat everyone with total respect and it will all come back. “Never worry about what you are going to get, just concentrate on what you can give.”
If you stop and think, you will notice that whatever your thinking and feeling, which is the Cause of the equation, will eventually manifest in your physical world, which is the Effect part of the equation. An example is, say you have a headache. This is the Effect. What is the Cause? Here you must stop and think. Do you have a big problem to solve? Did you drink alcohol last night? Are you stressed about something? Etc … This are the Cause of your Effect. The headache!
You cannot do a movement without thinking about it first. Visualise, you are sitting down with a cup of coffee/tea in front of you on the table. For you to pick up the cup, your mind will send thought vibrations to your arm and fingers to move towards it and pick it up. Try it, remembering how I have just described the sequence.
You cannot move or do anything without thinking the thought first.
Thinking will make you Happy, Healthy and Wealthy(HHW) by just setting your thought process on these three ideals. By keeping a Positive Mental Attitude, you will acquire a Healthy Body, you will be Happier, which will make people around you feel happy also. From the moment you wake up in the morning, you should start the process of thinking of only Positive Thoughts so that your day starts off on a Positive note. Start thinking of what you want, more money in your bank account, a better and bigger house, a new car that you always wanted, anything that you want. Do not hesitate on thinking and asking for bigger things; “it is your Father’s pleasure to give you the Kingdom,” said Jesus. See the picture of what you want in your Mind, as clearly and as real as possible, bringing out all the delightful details in it, which will make your desire stronger. This will make it easier to hold your Mind fixed upon the picture of what you want. Visualise what you want as already having them. “Believe that ye receive them.”
Behind this vision of yours, there must be the purpose to realise it; to bring it out in a clear and definite expression. The things you want are already yours; you have only to take possession of them.
Thinking is one of the hardest things that anyone can do, as it requires you to relax your body and start to concentrate on what you want. Wallace D. Wattles said in his book “The Science of Getting Rich,” “To think what you want to think is to think truth regardless of appearances. To think according to appearances is easy. To think truth regardless of appearances is laborious and requires the expenditure of more power than any other work man is called upon to perform. There is no labour from which most people shrink as they do from that of sustained and consecutive thought; it is the hardest work in the world.”
Thinking of what you WANT is better than thinking of what you DON’T want. Your thoughts are potent energy, cosmic waves, that penetrate all time and space. So, your thoughts of what you WANT, or DON’T want, will eventually become a reality in your physical world.
Thinking should be the new recreational pastime for everyone to be doing, if they want to change their lives and surroundings for the better. By thinking of what you want to do, have, or become, will result in you getting them when the time is right. It is like when you plant a seed, by the Law of Gender, the seed has a gestation or incubation period for it to grow into form. Your ideas are Spiritual seeds which will move into form or physical results when the time is right. You must know and Believe they will manifest in time.
Look at Thinking as a powerful tool which will give you the results in your life that you want, by simply relaxing your Body in a sofa, close your eyes, and start the thinking process. Bring the images of what you want on to the front screen of your Mind. Like watching a movie on the Big screen. Remember, if you want positive results in your life, only think of what you WANT, not what you DON’T want.
Let us open our Mind and Begin to Learn.
Here are a couple of quotes to get us started on our journey to understanding the Mind and how it works.
“To learn you need a certain degree
Of confidence, not too much and not too little.
If you have too little confidence, you will think you cannot learn.
If you have too much, you will think you don’t have to learn.”
- Eric Hoffer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
“A person’s right to life means his right to have
The free and unrestricted use of all the things
Which may be necessary to his fullest mental,
Spiritual and physical unfolding –
In other words, his right to be rich.”
- Wallace D. Wattles
---------------------------------------------------------------------
“Curious how we acquire wisdom!
Over and over again, the same truth
Is thrust under our very noses.
We encounter it in action; we are admonished of it.
We read it in the written word.
We suffer the experience.
We gradually assent to the advice.
We approve, intellectually, the written word.
But nothing happens inside us.
Then, one day, some trivial experience
Or word or encounter stops us short.
A gleam of illumination penetrates the
Depth of our consciousness.
We see! Usually it is but a glimpse.
But on rare occasions a brilliant flash
Reveals truth fully formed.
And we marvel that this understanding
Has escaped us so long.”
- Steward Edward White & Harwood White

Let us now look at understanding and bringing order to your Mind. To do this you need to have an image to work with. But first, did you know that we think in pictures? Yes, we think in pictures. If I asked you to give me a picture of your car or your house, you will have no problem doing that.
But, if I asked you to give me a picture of your Mind, you would probably picture your brain. We do this because we do not have a picture of the Mind. Our brain is no more our Mind than our fingernail is. No one has ever seen the Mind. Our Mind is in every molecule of our body. In psychology, we know the Mind is more a function than a location. This quote is from Wikipedia, “The mind is the set of thinking faculties including cognitive aspects {refers to "the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding through thought, experience, and the senses.”} such as consciousness, imagination, perception, thinking, judgement, language and memory, as well as non-cognitive aspects such as emotion.”
There was a doctor in San Antonio, Texas, called Dr Thurman Fleet who understood that, way back around 1934. He created a picture of our Mind to help us to better work with our Mind and raise our understanding to move ahead in our life. He said, “You know, we’ve got a problem in the healing arts. We are treating people physically; we are treating symptoms. Until we treat the whole person, there’s not going to be any health.”
< This is the picture that Dr Thurman Fleet draw.
The top circle here represents the Mind, and the bottom circle represents the Body.
The Mind in this picture is much larger than the Body; this is on purpose because until now in our lives we have given all our awareness and attention to our physical Body and our physical Results.
Everything in our life is an expression of our Mind, and it is our Body (the instrument of the Mind) that merely carries out the Action. The Mind is in Control of the Body.
Our Mind is made up of two parts. Our Conscious Mind and our Sub-Conscious Mind.
Our Conscious Mind is our Thinking Mind. Free will and our awareness originate here. We can choose our thoughts here because our Conscious Mind can accept or reject ideas. Here you can think and reason. Your free will lies here. It can accept or reject any idea.
Our Sub-Conscious Mind is our Feeling and Emotional Mind. This is the part of our Mind where we store our memories, habits, conditioned beliefs, and Self-Image.
The Mind is in every cell of the Body. Mind is movement, Body is the manifestation of the movement, but we have got to have a picture to operate with. And it is what is going on in the Emotional Mind that is going to determines what the Body does.
How do the ideas get into the Emotional Mind? Well, we put them there.
There is a great Power of Energy that is flowing to and through us, and it never stops. As this Energy flows into the Consciousness, we can think.
This is your Conscious or Thinking Mind, and this is where Images are built. You take your Images and impress them upon your Sub-Conscious Mind. When you do this, it will cause Feelings(or Vibrations) in your Consciousness. These Emotions, then, are expressed through the Body. And this is what causes the Body to change its state of Vibration, and as the Vibration changes, the Action changes and when this happens, the Universe reacts to it. It is Action, Re-Action.
The Action alters your Condition, your Circumstance, and your Environment. In other words, your Results. Cause and Effect. The Cause is your images and the Effect is the Results.
For further reading on the Sub-Conscious Mind, read "The Power of Your Sub-Conscious Mind," by Dr. Joseph Murphy
This is the process. Understanding this opens our world to endless possibilities. We can choose to focus on what we WANT, instead of what we DON’T WANT or what’s NOT working. Remember, we have total control of our Thinking.
Thoughts that are held in our Conscious Mind and have an Emotional charge are delivered to our Sub-Conscious Mind. Whether they are Positive or Negative when they are Emotionalised, these thoughts will impress themselves upon the Sub-Conscious Mind, which then dictates the Feelings we feel. So, to change your Results, you must first change your Thinking.
James Allen said, in his marvellous little book, ‘As a Man Thinketh’, “We Think in Secret, and it comes to pass, our Environment is but our looking glass.” Whatever is going on in your outside world reflects what is going on in your inside world. Live from the inside out and quit living from the outside in!
This drawing is going to help you understand YOU better, and because YOU understand YOU, you will understand everybody else. The biggest gap in life is between what we know and what we do.
As I said earlier, our Thinking brings feelings, and our feelings bring Actions, and our Actions bring Results, and our Results are what we call our lives, and the truth is, we were all designed to create and live a life we Love.
So, we have our Mind and our Body. The two parts of our Mind are the Conscious Mind and the Sub-Conscious Mind. Question is, what influences our Mind? How do we choose a Positive Thought and a Negative Thought? Well, you have your five senses, Hear, Smell, See, Taste, and Touch. This sensory Factors is what feeds information into our Consciousness from the outside world.
As from a young age we have been conditioned to learn from these senses. They are hard wired into our Conscious Mind. From these five senses is how we have been taught to gather information from our environment. They are bombarded by our environment; TV, radio, newspapers, and conversations all around us. We have been so conditioned to respond to our environment through these senses, that when someone gives us a compliment, we feel good and yet in the next moment if we are criticised or put down, we can instantly feel bad. It is like riding an Emotional roller coaster. One minute we are feeling good, and the next minute we are feeling bad.
When you start talking about changing your Results, you must be careful of who and what you are listening to. If you want to achieve something in your life, do not listen to or seek out advice from anybody who is not achieving, living, or breathing the Results in their life that you are seeking.
The Conscious Mind is the part that Thinks and Reasons. Here lies your free will. The Conscious Mind can accept or reject any idea that you think of. Also, there is no person or circumstance that can cause you to think of thoughts or ideas that you do not choose. The thoughts that you do choose eventually will determine the Results in your life. This can be pain, pleasure, or limitation. Your thoughts are then impressed upon your Sub-Conscious Mind, the other part of your personality. “You will become what you think about.”
You can only reach the Sub-Conscious and Universal Mind through the Conscious Mind. The Sub-Conscious Mind gets its impressions from the Conscious Mind. The Sub-Conscious Mind depends on the Conscious Mind, working as a team, to get successful Results. So, you cannot expect results from the Sub-Conscious when your Conscious Mind is full of Fear or Worry, or when it does not know what it wants.
The important part of your Conscious Mind is to centre your thoughts on what you want, and NOT on what you DON’T want. Close the door on every suggestion of Fear, Worry and Disease. If you can do this, nothing is impossible to you. Because the Sub-Conscious Mind does not Reason inductively. It will take your thoughts that you send into it and it will work them out to their logical conclusion. So, that means if you send it thoughts of Health and Strength, it will show Health and strength in your Body. Send it thoughts of Disease, Fear of Sickness, either through your own thoughts or the talk of those around you, and you are highly likely going to see the manifestation of Disease in yourself.
Your Mind is in control of your Body. It controls every function of your Body. Do not reverse this process. Your Body is like the Universe, but in a smaller way, and your Mind is its centre that gives life to all your system, and your Conscious Thinking oversees this centre. As Emile Coue puts it— “The Conscious can put the Sub-Conscious Mind over the hurdles.”
The Sub-Conscious Mind is the Power centre. It is in every part of your Body. Every thought you let your Conscious Mind choose to accept, the Sub-Conscious Mind must accept … it has no ability to reject. This part operates in an orderly manner. Any thought you choose to impress on the Sub-Conscious Mind over and over, become fixed here until they are replaced. These fixed ideas are more commonly referred to as Habits. The Sub-Conscious Mind is the God-like part of you, referred to as Spirit, which knows no limits, save those you Consciously choose to impose on it. It operates and repairs your Body. If you fail to recognise this Energy of Power, it will lead you to all sorts of Failures. So, turn over to it all your problems, whether its personal or business, in the same way you let it deal with the running of your Body, and there will be no goal you cannot strive for and achieve.
Your Sub-Conscious Mind is the link connecting you and the Creator, between Universal Mind and your Conscious Mind.
Your Sub-Conscious Mind is a massive magnet, which has the Power to draw from the Universal Mind unlimited power, knowledge, and riches. There is nothing you cannot have, the abundance is so unlimited, there is more than enough to satisfy every single human being on this planet.
Once you get control of your Mind, there is going to be no problem in attaining Health, Success, and Happiness. Also, if you control your Mind and start thinking Negative thoughts, it will give you just the same in abundance. It does not care. Good or Bad.
Remember, it will bring to you any good desire that you ask. “The Kingdom of Heaven is within You.”
This might be the most obvious part of you, but it is only the instrument of your Mind, or the house you live in. James Allen said, in his little book, “As a Man Thinketh,” “The body is the servant of the mind. It obeys the operations of the mind, whether they be deliberately chosen or automatically expressed.”
The Mind oversees the Body and the Body is the Servant of the Mind.
The Body takes, and obeys instructions from the Mind, they can be deliberately chosen or automatically expressed in the outward Results.
There is no movement of the Body without there been a thought behind it first.
The thoughts or images that you Consciously chose, are impressed upon the Sub-Conscious Mind (which is in every cell of your Body), which move your Body into Action. This Behaviour or Actions you are involved in, determine what your Results are going to be.
So, you have (a) Your Thoughts, (b) Your Feelings, (c) Action, and (d) Results.
All you must do is to get all three parts working in Harmony to get the Results that you WANT in your live. DON’T forget if you think Negative thoughts, your bodily vibrations will produce Negative Results. So, again, “Only Think of What you WANT, NOT what you DON’T WANT.”
Wallace D. Wattles – “Getting rich is the Result of doing Things in a Certain Way.”
The Certain Way is Think Positive Thoughts, (What you WANT) Internalise them as your Feelings/Vibrations, and once these Vibrations are passed onto the Body, it will cause your Behaviour/Actions to change, giving you your Results.
